Rollback
Module: agentic
What it is
Rollback is reversing agent actions to return to a previous state. If an agent makes a mistake, rollback undoes the damage. This requires tracking what actions were taken and having mechanisms to reverse them—version control for files, undo operations for changes.
Why it matters
Rollback is your safety net for agent mistakes. Knowing actions can be reversed makes experimentation safer and reduces the cost of errors. When deploying agents, consider whether actions are reversible and ensure rollback capabilities exist for destructive operations.
