Agent Memory

Module: agentic

What it is

Agent memory is how agents retain information across actions and sessions. Short-term memory holds current task context. Long-term memory stores information for future sessions. Without memory, agents would forget what they've learned and repeat work.

Why it matters

Memory enables agents to work on extended tasks and improve over time. An agent with good memory can build on previous work, remember your preferences, and avoid repeating mistakes. Memory design significantly affects agent capability and personalisation.
